I discovered my childhood at my parents house today. Anybody know anything about these?
First, I found this Tomica Maserati Merak
Then, I found this funky Tomica Ambulance, with an On/Off switch on it.
Then I found all of these. The blue Bugatti at the top is a Tomica, all the others are Matchbox.
Then I found these. The 88 Supra is fairly badass.
There are many more in my childhood collection. And my slightly later in childhood Lesney collection.

Here is the bottom of it, the wheels were motorized at some point. It's in pretty bad condition, I'll have to think a bit.

I totally understand if not, just never saw a Previa toy car before. Looks pretty complex compared most 1/64 scale cars.

Most I can find is the new body style Toyota Estima (What the Previa was called in Japan). I'll keep looking as well. Very awesome finds though.

Well, that thing is older than me.
I think the Merak is comes when tomica starts aggresively modeling european cars, like Mercedes 300SL Gullwing, VW Beetle, and Porsche 356.
There's also a silver and black version of it. Can you open the trunk so you can see the engine?

Tomy Pocket Cars ... I loved those far more than Matchbox or, especially, Hot Wheels because they made a better attempt to look like the real car. Plus, who else would put together a lineup that includes the Cadillac Seville (hunchback!), Datsun 200SX and a Winnebago in 1:61 scale?
I have a small collection of these packed in a wine bottle box, with each vehicle wrapped individually in tissue. I have opened the box once in the 25 years since I packed them away when my parents moved out of the house I grew up in.

Well, that's normal.
I have a tomica from 1950's that i bought from a scrapyard, and it's made out of ceramic. I'm also in my early 20's as well.
But yeah, that's really cool. And that previa is also really cool, they didn't make tomica like they used to in late 70's..

Thanks, I will definitely consider it. It is part of my childhood, which gives me a strange feeling.
